Dinner at sunset at La Luna in Pelada is not to be missed. Call ahead for a reservation for the best seats in the sand. It's most fun to walk from Casa Bamboo, about a mile down the beach and cut through the jungle path over to Pelada.
At the back of Organico Market, you'll find delicious poke bowls to go from Single Fin. Spicy tuna, anyone?
Coyol is worth the drive so if you don't have a car, ask our concierge to arrange a ride. Set in the mountains above Nosara town, it's a magical rustic setting with amazing food. Don't miss cocktails at sunset and the swing!
Our Favorite Restaurants
Another restaurant that requires a car, but well worth the amazing service, views, and skilled mixologist (fancy bartender!) My favorite is the mezcal margarita on Taco Tuesdays.
Al Chile for ping pong, ceviche, the fish chalupa (shown above) and their super refreshing frescas. The blackberry ginger is a fave.
A trip to Costa Rica isn't complete without a traditional casado, either with fish or chicken. Get there before or after noon as Rosi’s gets packed.
Our Favorite Restaurants
A five-minute walk north from Casa Bamboo, Beach Dog Cafe offers healthy smoothies, vegan food, the coldest bottle of Imperial, and live music at night. The Thai tacos are my favorite lunch, chicken or vegan, as it's the sauce that counts!
Thin-crust pizza and craft beer, one of the best combos around. Found in north Guiones, in two black shipping containers, my favorite pizza is the Teto: palmitos, pejibayes, and hongos.
Farm to table food, craft beer, kindred spirits, and deviled eggs. Don't miss these beauties as well as their tuna burger and yucca fries. Located on the main road at The Gardens intersection.
